Our adults are hand picked to produce quality, well bred, even tempered puppies. We do not breed aggressive, submissive, or dogs with poor structure. We do not breed dogs that produce genetic defects. We only breed sound, healthy dogs. They are all kept UTD on their vaccinations and all of our puppies visit our vet prior to going to your homes to ensure they are healthy and sound. Healthy adults produce healthy puppies.
Our puppies are born in our home and we are with our mothers during the birthing process to ensure they do not have any unneccessary stress and to make sure they are not experiencing any complications and if they are, we have our vet on call. Any mother that experiences severe complications birthing, we will opt to have her spayed so that she does not have to experience it again. We also do not breed our females every heat and we retire them early in life.
All of our puppies are handled by us daily and they are socialized with children, as well as our other dogs. They are raised around normal household noise such as vacuum cleaners, televisions, etc. They are happy, healthy, well rounded puppies by the time they go home. We also work on housebreaking issues by starting the puppies on litter training about 4 to 5 weeks of age. This helps them have a start on housebreaking prior to coming to your home so that it helps you not to be overly stressed with potty training.
We update our website with weekly pictures of the new puppy so their growth can be monitored and you can see how much they are changing.
Each puppy will go home with a small bag of food, and vaccination record to get them started in their new home. We encourage you to take your puppy to your vet within 48 to 72 hours depending on the day of the week you pick up your puppy from our home. We also believe you should continue to work on the housebreaking from day one to be successful with your new puppy.
You will not find any outside pens or dirty crates that hold our dogs. Our dogs are our family members and share our home with us. Each one is spoiled and very happy dogs. Our dogs also carry English bloodlines which give them extra soft coats and great temperments.
So to answer this question for you in a nutshell, you can pay a little more for a healthier and sound dog that will be with you for approximately 14 to 20 years or you can purchase a dog that is cheap, pay more in vet bills and possibly lose your pet within a year's time or end up with a tempermental dog that is aggressive and bites. We don't know about you, but we would rather not put ourselves through all the heartbreak. None of our adult dogs were cheap dogs and all of them cost between $1000 to $1500 each. So as you can see, we have a lot invested in our dogs from the get go. We paid the price for quality dogs to breed. They are all AKC as well but please know that just having AKC papers does not ensure you are getting a quality bred dog. We have both dams and sires here in our home for you to see with your own eyes. All are very healthy and happy!
Our pricing does vary depending on what is produced and also depending on any complications that may be experienced during the birthing process. Our goal is to keep the puppies affordable. You may see some priced higher or lower than others and this has to do with the above reasons. Our dog prices start at $500 and will go up from there. Please ask about a particular puppy to learn about pricing.

Our Puppies are sold with limited papers, but why?
There are people that ask us why we sell with limited registration, instead of full registration. We believe this is a good question and want to explain the facts, and our reasons. We feel responsible for each of our puppies and we have to do what is best for the puppy.
Limited registration is an American Kennel Club (AKC) registered dog. It is purebred and the parents are registered, just like full registration. You will get papers on the dog from the AKC, but you are expected to spay or neuter your pet if you have purchased it with limited papers. We feel the best age for spay or neuter should be done at 4 to 6 months. At that time, after you have had your puppy spayed or neutered we ask you send us a statement of spay/neuter from your vet with the puppies microchip # on it and at that time we will mail out the original limited AKC puppy papers for you to mail into AKC.
Limited registration allows you to participate in performance events such as agility, obedience, and rally. These events allow you to put titles on the dog in those events. The dog cannot be entered in AKC conformation events. Unless you intend to show the puppy in conformation, our contract requires the puppy be registered limited and must be discussed at the time of purchase. It costs thousands of dollars to finish a dog and few people are willing to invest the money to hire a handler. We encourage and inform new owners about local obedience classes. Obedience classes assist owners in training correctly and its fun for you and your dog. Obedience can be for every dog, where conformation shows require a different commitment. Remember there is also agility, rally, tracking, or other events. If you are looking for a dog to breed, you need to look for another puppy elsewhere. Only rarely will we consider full registration anymore as we have seen some of our dogs end up homeless due to poor intentions. There are too many dogs in shelters today as a result of inexperienced folks breeding. We do not want our puppies purchased solely to help their new owners make a buck. Limited registration helps ensure our dogs have loving homes by keeping the focus on having a pet and not what the dog can produce for you.
We hope this helps explain why we sell limited and require you to bring the dog back to us for re-homing if that becomes necessary. We would rather you surrender your dog to us so that we can find a good home for him or her than to see them enter a shelter or to be wandering the streets. We are doing it to protect the breed and our babies. We have seldom had to re-home a puppy but we are ready and willing to do that. Our contract requires you to return the dog if you must re-home it. It also requires you to spay or neuter the dog and there are many health reasons for that. Ask your vet about the benefits. Most of all we want to ensure our puppies have the life they deserve.
